Stella bought me Dawn of War 2 today. Am feeling really touched that she spent so much on a game for me. Thanks so much dear =) I don’t usually buy my games as I seldom play them online anyway. This is one of the games that I would gladly put down my money for however. You guys have to try it.

On another note, am feeling really worried now because right after she bought me the game, Stella had some sort of an allergy attack. Panicked just now and dragged her around cck trying to get some medicines, but the pharmacists at Guardian just had to be out for lunch.  Hope that everything would be fine for her soon.

we live in exciting times

Referring to games and movies actually. haha. Couple of want to watch movies coming out, and want to play games as well. Marley and me, Watchmen, Underworld 3 for the movies, and dawn of war 2 for the game which I would rush out and buy come February 10th. Sims 3 is stated for release around the 20th as well, but I’m not a fan. I’m sure my brother would be excited though.

sending my games up to heaven

It felt almost symbolic when I decided that it has come to a point that I would not be able to run any roleplaying games in the near future and started packing all my older games into a box. The act of placing that box high up in my cupboard in a place where I would not access them till I really needed to felt as if I was sending my games ‘up to heaven’, and rightfully so, as they have served me well during my many gaming sessions with the guys, who are now mostly spread across the world at this point, or just too busy to game.

I kept the Changeling and CoC book on my shelf as I might run something for Stella and friends if/when the opportunity arises. But right now, we’re mostly occupied with Hordes, cards and probably a bit of DDM. All in all, the verdict still stands that my other RPGs will have to be put away to make way for my growing book collection.

It has always been at the back of my mind that one day I might have to put aside my hobby for other passions/responsibilities, but putting them away because of a lack of a gaming group and regular gaming sessions sure wasn’t something that I really expected.

In a way, I really miss those times.

Taking pictures of small people

Here’s a great article (courtesy of Keane) that teaches you how to take great pictures of your miniatures. As some of you might know, I do like photography quite a lot, and I’m always itching to try something with my point and shoot ixus 70. I’m certainly going to try this out quite soon. Stella and I can’t wait for the minis that are arriving on Sunday.
